RAPPAHANNOCK AREA COMMUNITY SERVICES BOARD
SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR ANNUAL VOLUNTEER AWARDS
Fredericksburg, Virginia – The Rappahannock Area Community Services Board seeks nominations for its annual Distinguished Volunteer Awards. These prizes are given to volunteers who have shown creativity, initiative, leadership and dependability while helping individuals with behavioral health concerns or developmental disability.
“Every day, RACSB touches countless lives as we strive to provide quality care,” Executive Director Jane Yaun said. “We could not do this challenging—yet rewarding—work without passionate and qualified staff who are committed to helping people reach their fullest potential. We are also thankful for our community partners and stakeholders who join us in this mission and with whom I look forward to continued strong relationships as we all work to build a better community.”
Each year, RACSB’s leaders look forward to recognizing individuals who offer their time and talents to improve the community in the areas of behavioral health and developmental disability.
This year’s winners will join a prestigious group of people who have left a lasting legacy in the community. Previous recipients include peer specialists, Special Olympics coaches, fund raisers, and a service dog (with her handler).
