Emergency Services: 540-373-6876

Having a child with mental health concerns can be challenging, and it can be difficult to navigate the maze of services to find what you need. We are here to help, offering a vast array of mental health services for children and adolescents, including:

  • Individual and family therapy
  • Psychological consultation and assessment
  • Medication management
  • Services in the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center
  • Assistance connecting with community resources
  • Case management
  • Intensive Care Coordination
  • Early intervention
  • Prevention programs
  • Crisis services

We offer board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, specially trained therapists, and services geared toward youth.

In Intensive Care Coordination, our staff work with community partners to keep children in the home, instead of in residential care. For youth who are in outside placements, we work to get them home as quickly as possible. We collaborate with other agencies to offer wrap-around services to children and adolescents who have been identified as high-risk for outside placements by the local Family Assistance Planning Team.

We also offer emergency services therapists specially trained to work with children and adolescents. Our 24-hour crisis intervention program serves children ages 3-17. Therapists work with schools and other community agencies to avoid hospitalization. Children with intellectual disability or developmental disability are a priority.
