Rappahannock Area Community Services Board has partnered with the Virginia Department of Health to make naloxone available to lay rescuers to reverse opioid overdoses. Opioids include licit medications like hydrocodone and oxycodone, in addition to illicit drugs like heroin.
This harm reduction method offers a 10-minute training on how to use naloxone. These rapid trainings will be available from 1-4 p.m.
