Since October 2010, Irene Tano has been proudly serving as a RACSB Sponsored Placement Provider, offering care and support in a safe, family-oriented environment. With a professional background that includes working in Residential Group Homes with Volunteers of America and hands-on experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in nursing facilities, Irene brings years of skill, compassion, and dedication to the individuals she supports.
The home is in the beautiful England Run Community, friendly neighborhood just off Route 17 in Stafford. The house is fully equipped for accessibility, including a side-entry ramp for ease and safety.
Currently, Irene supports one young woman who enjoys community activities, shopping, and gardening, interests that fit perfectly with the home’s vibrant and active setting. The fenced backyard features expansive vegetable and fruit gardens and a bird feeder attracting cheerful songbirds throughout the day. The front yard blooms with a fruiting fig tree, offering both beauty and fresh produce. Irene is also an exceptional cook, preparing healthy, home-style meals made from the garden’s fresh ingredients. She often shares flavorful recipes and dishes from her birth country, Ghana, bringing a unique cultural touch to mealtimes.
The home is now looking to welcome a female resident who enjoys staying active, socializing, and being part of a close-knit, family-like environment. While the home does not allow pets, a peaceful fish tank adds a calming presence to the living space.
