Charmaine is a compassionate and experienced caregiver with a strong foundation in both education and clinical support. For over 18 years, she served as a dedicated paraeducator in a high school special education program, where she provided individualized academic and behavioral support to students with diverse needs. Her work was marked by patience, empathy and a deep commitment to inclusion.
Prior to her role in education, Charmaine gained valuable handson experience as a Medical Assistant and Home Health Aide, delivering personalized care in both home and clinical settings. These roles sharpened her clinical skills and deepened her understanding of holistic, person-centered care.
Today, Charmaine continues her mission of service as a Sponsor Placement Provider, welcoming individuals with disabilities into her warm, accessible home. Located in a quiet, welcoming neighborhood, her spacious four-bedroom residence is thoughtfully equipped with a chair lift, walk-in shower, grab bars, and other accessibility features. The large backyard and deck offer a peaceful outdoor retreat, shared with her two friendly dogs who bring joy and companionship to the home.
Outside of her caregiving work, Charmaine enjoys working in her yard, staying active through sports and sporting events, listening to music and traveling to recharge. Her nurturing spirit, combined with her professional expertise and vibrant lifestyle, creates a supportive and enriching environment for those in her care.
