Day Services – Kenmore Club

Our clubhouse is more than a place to go during the day--it’s a community. At Kenmore Club, individuals with severe and persistent mental illness come for psychosocial rehabilitation. By focusing on each individual’s strengths, we help members pursue passions and build friendships.

At the Barbara C. Terry Building, members work with staff to run the club, which aims to provide:

  • a place to come
  • work opportunities
  • meaningful relationships
  • a place to return

Members and staff work side by side to do the daily tasks involved in operating the clubhouse. The day-to-day operation of Kenmore Club offers members the chance to contribute in significant ways, which helps them gain confidence, build self-esteem, learn job-related skills, and work with others toward a common goal.

We also help members get jobs, develop hobbies, and participate in community activities. Two members organize annual community events--the Art of Recovery and the Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon.

We are proud to say that our peer specialists are all state-certified, which involves a lengthy process and many hours of work.

Kenmore Club is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We also hold occasional evening and weekend activities.
